Team Members
How to manage team member access to your project.
You might have a new person on your team that needs access to your project, needs more rights, or maybe someone is leaving your team and needs to be removed from your Firmhouse project. This can all be configured in the Team members setting tab.
Add a Team Member
To add new team members, use the Invite team member button and provide their email address in the popup that opens.
Once sent, you can see the invitations in the Team members table and resend the invite if your team members miss it. You can also delete the invitation if you change your mind.
Manage Team Member Roles
Once they join the project, by default, your team members will be added with the role "Team member". This role gives them mostly viewing rights but no access to the project settings. In some cases, you'll need to update their role to increase their access, based on their responsibilities.
Available roles
Support Agent
Support agents are strictly limited to customer service functions. They have read-only customer data access, meaning they can view subscriptions, orders, and invoices for troubleshooting purposes. However, they have no configuration access and cannot modify project settings, products, or plans. Support agents also cannot export customer data or access reports.
Team Member
A team member can access most subscriber and customer management features, like viewing subscriptions, invoices, orders, and modifying non-financial information. This is typically the role for most customer support users.
Finance Team Member
This person can do all what a regular Team member can do but also has access to refunding payments or initiating manual charges.
Project Manager
A project manager has access to all things related to subscriptions and also has access to all project settings.
Remove a Team Member
To remove an active team member, use the Edit button next to their name in the Team Members tab, which will open the permissions popup. On the bottom left corner, click on the Remove from project button.
